The Ndlambe Music Festival marked itself as Ndlambe event of the year as more than 25,000 festival-goers attended the main festival.
The annual music festival is held at the Gidana Stadium,in Port Alfred every year. and included an hip-hop versus gqom, Festival, which saw tickets sold out.
This year’s edition of the increasingly popular lifestyle festival is set for 22nd December in Port Alfred, Eastern Cape.
Ndlambe Project Manager Siyabulela Madyo said: ” Tourist visitor numbers increase enormously in the town during the festive season especially around the festival date,”
” Award-winning, top of the charts acts have been lined-up to ensure the sold-out sign remain hoisted high for Ndlambe music Festival.” He said.
Madyo added : ” The Ndlambe music leg will kick things off on December 22 with a trinity of hot music genres of Hip-Hop, Gqom and Amapiano. Even more blazing are artists on the line up including Mlindo the Vocalist, Dj Zintle, Naak Musiq, , Ami Faku, Dladla Mshunqisi,Butho Vuthela, Bethusile Mcinga ,King Jade and Baby joe,and the local artists.”
Laughter will add to the healing effect of the friendliness of popular Mhlobo Wenene Dj Mafa Bavuma, Amanda (Tru Fm),Elivis Mali (Umhlobo Wenene).
