In a shocking turn of events, a notorious tsotsi was caught red-handed with 18 stolen cellphones in a daring church heist. The suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed, was apprehended by the police following a tip-off from a vigilant community member.
The incident occurred at the local church Missionaries in KwaZakhele in Gqeberha , where the thief had made off with several valuable items, including the 18 cellphones. The church authorities had reported the theft to the police, who quickly sprang into action to track down the culprit.
The police were able to track the suspect to a nearby location, where they found him in possession of the stolen cellphones. The suspect was taken into custody and is currently facing charges of theft and burglary.
Siphosethu Oliphant (34) said ” We are grateful to the police for their diligence in solving this case,” said a church member. “We can finally feel safe again.” The community is breathing a sigh of relief following the arrest, with many praising the police for their swift action. ” s
The police have confirmed that the suspect is being held at the local police station and will appear in court soon. “We are committed to keeping our communities safe and will not tolerate any form of crime,” said a police spokesperson
