Eastern Cape NPO Forum Extends Call for AI Program Submissions

The Eastern Cape NPO Multi-Purpose Forum has extended its call for submissions for its Artificial Intelligence (AI) program, designed to equip 15,000 unemployed youths with valuable skills in AI. The program, in partnership with NetCampus and Microsoft, aims to empower marginalized black youth with the necessary skills to thrive in a technologically advanced world.

Program Details

The 30-day course will cover various modules, including:

  • Understanding Generative AI
  • The Evolution of Search Technologies
  • AI Best Practices
  • The Impact of AI Accessibility
  • Exploring Microsoft Copilot
  • An Overview of Cybersecurity in the AI Era

Participating youths will gain:

Eligibility and Registration

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be between 18 and 40 years old
  • Be unemployed
  • Have at least Grade 10
  • Have access to a smartphone or computer with basic knowledge of the device
