The investigation into the gruesome discovery of two burnt bodies in KwaNobuhle has taken a significant turn, with the number of suspects arrested in connection with the crime rising to eight.
According to police spokesperson Brigadier Nobuntu Gantana, the suspects, aged between 16 and 27, will appear before the KwaNobuhle magistrate’s court on Monday.

The bodies of the two victims, believed to be teenage girls aged between 17 and 19, were found by goat herders at approximately 7am near the boundary of the Nyosi Wildlife Reserve and KwaNobuhle.
Initially, four suspects were arrested, but following an interrogation process, four additional suspects were detained, bringing the total number of arrests to eight.
The suspects are expected to face charges related to the double murder, and the police are working to gather more evidence to build a strong case. Brigadier Gantana urged anyone with information related to the case to come forward and assist with the investigation.
